We strongly encourage taxpayers to utilize our online services and respect the guidelines of “Social Distancing” as provided by the CDC.

The Tax Appraisal District of Bell County offices are now open with limited services.

Limited services are also available by phone.

Payments can be submitted by utilizing the payment feature within our online Property Search section of our website.

Homestead applications can be submitted by utilizing the forms submission feature within the Online Forms section of our website.

Payments can be made at the Belton office 24/7 using the Dropbox outside.

Payments can be made at the Killeen and Temple offices 8 am-5 pm M-F using the Dropbox inside.

Informational Video: Explanation of 2020 Tax Appraisal Value Notices – Part 1

Some appraisal notices contain conflicting protest deadlines. The deadline is June 13th 2020 for all notices mailed on the 14th of May. Notices may be viewed by selecting view notice from within your property details page found by using Property Search. If you feel the value of your property is above market value as of January 1st 2020 prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we urge you to file your protest online using the Online Protest button. This will allow you to schedule an informal video conference with an appraiser and possibly resolve your issue. The District will not be conducting informal meetings in person or by phone at this time.
